Mrs. Walker Inspired by
"The Village At Sherman Oaks"
I had gone to see my dear friend Rosemary in Los Angeles in April were she lives in a very nice seniors home. I told her that when I got home I would make a doll that was inspired by my experience. Having met so many wonderful ladies were she lives I decided on creating
Mrs. Walker.
Mrs. Walker.
The walker is made of a wire armature and polymer clay then painted. The head, hands and feet are sculpted in polymer clay with a wire armature and fiber batting body . The sweater was made from a pair of socks from dollerama. She is thirteen and a half inches tall.

“I like to ride my bicycle” “I like to ride my bike”
This is Freddie and his bicycle…
I found the bike in a dollar store on Bank Street
here in Ottawa and the running
shoes are car air fresheners from Dollerama. The bike has a motor and the peddles
move so I tried to make the legs with hinges (see photo below) but it was not
strong enough to make him peddle. The head, Hands and feet are sculpted in
polymer clay. The clothes are tailored onto the doll.
